Our classes and instruction are for ages 6 to 106 (and higher).
Introduction to Archery$20 with your own equipment, $25 with rental equipment
This is a one hour session that teaches the basics of archery including range and shooting safety. This is a student's first developmental step on the learning path to becoming a safe and skilled archer.
Archery 101
$60 with your own equipment, $75 with rental equipment
This is a three week course with one session per week. In Archery 101, the student will be given an introduction to archery, and gain a greater understanding of shooting form and techniques. In the first of the three sessions, we will cover all information from the Introduction to Archery class. Archery 101 is a stand-alone set of classes for beginners. Introdution to Archery does NOT need to be completed before attending Archery 101. Students will attend instructor-led group practice sessions.
Archery 201
$120 with your own equipment, $150 with rental equipment
This is a six week course with one session per week. Satisfactory completion of Archery 101 is a prerequisite to this class. In Archery 201, the student will continue to develop their archery skills through improved form and technique. Students will attend instructor-led group practice sessions.
Class Format
For each achievement level, a student is challenged with developing a variety of skills. Instructors will present relevant archery topics and will demonstrate various shooting techniques. Students will also participate in instructor-led practice sessions. Skill drills will be taught and assigned to be practiced between sessions.
Individual Instruction
$35 with your own equipment, $40 with rental
Archery Traditions also offers instruction in a 1-on-1 format. Here you will have the opportunity to ask for help on very specific issues and we will be able to tailor the lesson to the student's needs. Please call for more information and to schedule your individual instruction.
Group Instruction
Rates vary, depending on size of group.
Bring in your friends and family to take advantage of group instruction. These classes will vary depending on your groups' skill level. Please call for more information and to schedule your group instruction.
